Senior Electrical Engineer
This client will harness your expertise as an innovator and technical leader to develop strategies to solve our client's challenging energy needs. The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead electrical design teams to create world-class designs for new and existing projects including distributed generation and microgrid projects for corporate, healthcare, airports, institutional, industrial, manufacturing, government, and military campuses and facilities.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will work with a multi-discipline engineering team throughout the design and construction process, developing electrical solutions according to budget constraints, design factors, or client needs.
- Participate in the development of project schedule, scope, budget staffing planning, and construction planning.
- Applies expert knowledge of fundamental electrical concepts, practices, codes, and procedures within the electrical engineering utility industry.
- Applies knowledge and experience to complex energy and utility infrastructure projects, and develops innovative design solutions.
- Observation and support of construction activities including coordination with field personnel to resolve installation issues, support field inspections and testing of electrical systems, and evaluate systems and performance.
- Build effective relationships with existing clients, customers and contractors and develop new business opportunities.
- Support the development of cost proposals and qualification statements to promote business growth.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and instruction across our electrical engineering practice and mentor and guide less experienced engineers.
- Responsible for effective communication with other engineering disciplines.
- Responsible for compliance with company and site safety policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
