We are seeking a Licensed Architect with extensive experience in architectural design, detailing, and project management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects and possess a strong understanding of building codes, construction practices, and architectural standards. This role involves collaboration with engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to create innovative and functional architectural solutions across various project types, including residential, commercial, and institutional developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop comprehensive architectural plans and concepts in alignment with project goals and client needs.
- Lead the preparation of construction documents, including detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
- Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Provide creative and practical solutions to complex architectural challenges.
- Manage project timelines and budgets while maintaining high standards of design and construction quality.
- Oversee the coordination of consultants and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of all project components.
- Conduct site visits, field measurements, and inspections to verify construction aligns with design intent.
- Review and approve architectural drawings and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Current and active architectural license.
- 5 years of professional architectural experience, including project design and management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting and design software.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
- Exceptional design skills and a portfolio showcasing diverse and innovative projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design practices.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and other advanced architectural tools.
- Experience in high-profile residential, commercial, or institutional projects.
