We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Madrid Home Communities. The successful candidate will administer physical therapy treatment intentions as directed by the Physical Therapist's evaluation and plan of care, with a focus on providing excellent patient care during evenings and weekends.

Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program
- Valid license or eligibility for licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Iowa
- High-level communication skills, both verbal and written
- Effective leadership and customer relationship skills
- Maturity and ability to exercise sound judgment when analyzing and solving problems
Responsibilities
- Assist directly and indirectly with the delivery of physical therapy treatment interventions and services under the general supervision of the Physical Therapist, and as outlined by an established treatment plan and in accordance with state practice guidelines.
- Provide direct patient care to primarily adult and geriatric patients.
- Assist the Physical Therapist in establishing restorative nursing programs.
- Maintain appropriate patient schedules as per established guidelines.
