About Madrigal : Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Role Overview : Director, Supply Chain Operations We are looking for an experienced Director, Supply Chain Operations to lead our Supply Chain program management, operations, and strategy initiatives. This role will focus on developing / maintaining key operational components (e.g. NPP Playbook, Governance Forums, etc.) and establishing the Global Supply Chain vision, objectives, and strategy in coordination with the Supply Chain Leadership Team (SCLT), driving to keep Supply Chain internally aligned and collaborating effectively with key enterprise stakeholder functions. Researching and bringing to the Madrigal Supply Chain key industry insights and benchmarks will be critical to this role. Success in this position will be measured by the ability to align key stakeholders within Global Supply Chain and across functions (Regulatory, Commercial, Quality, Clinical, CMC, Medical Affairs, etc.) to steer needed collaboration to support the enterprise meeting patient needs. Position Responsibilities : Global Supply Chain Operations Development : Develop and implement the Global Supply Chain operational and strategical framework in coordination with the Supply Chain Leadership Team (SCLT). Establish and maintain key operational components such as Business Playbooks (e.g. NPP), Governance Forums, and Master Plan to ensure internal alignment and effective collaboration with key internal stakeholder functions so that critical milestones are achieved. Industry Insights & Benchmarking : Research and bring key industry insights and benchmarks to the Madrigal Supply Chain. Utilize industry insights to drive strategic decision-making and continuous improvement within the supply chain. Cross-Functional Stakeholder Alignment : Align key stakeholders within Global Supply Chain and across functions (Regulatory, Commercial, Quality, Clinical, CMC, Medical Affairs, etc.) to drive needed collaboration. Facilitate cross-functional meetings and forums to ensure effective communication and alignment on supply chain initiatives. Supply Chain KPI Development & Tracking : Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of Global Supply Chain processes, new product launches, and overall supply chain optimization. Monitor and report on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. Risk Management : Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement risk management plans to minimize disruptions. Qualifications and Skills Required : Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in Global Supply Chain, particularly in strategy development and change management within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders. Excellent analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective stakeholder engagement. Compensation : Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands.
