Role Overview
Reporting to the IT Senior Director, Corporate Functions, this role is a key business partner position responsible for managing and optimizing Information Technology solutions for the Finance function. The Senior Manager will ensure that IT initiatives align with the strategic goals of the Finance team while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness in a pharmaceutical industry environment.
Position Responsibilities
Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits, which include flexible paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.

- IT Strategy & Business Partnership:
- Develop and execute an IT strategy aligned with Finance Technology objectives and the overall business strategy.
- Partner with the Finance organization to understand business needs and provide IT solutions that enhance financial processes, reporting, and compliance.
- Drive technology adoption and digitization efforts to enhance automation and operational efficiency within Finance.
- Engage with key stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure IT solutions align with business objectives.
- IT System Implementation & Management:
- Lead the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing management of financial IT systems, including ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite), P2P (e.g., Coupa), expense management (e.g., Concur), payroll (e.g., ADP) and financial reporting tools (e.g., DataRails, Workiva).
- Ensure IT systems comply with financial regulations and pharmaceutical industry standards.
- Identify and drive opportunities for automation, analytics, and AI-powered solutions to improve financial operations.
- Compliance & Data Management:
- Support financial compliance requirements, including SOX and other regulatory frameworks.
- Implement data governance best practices for financial reporting and analytics.
- Work with IT security teams to ensure the protection of sensitive financial data.
- Vendor Management:
- Work closely with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure seamless implementation and support of financial systems.
- Manage relationships with software providers, consultants, and implementation partners.
- 7 years of experience in IT business partnership or IT system management within Finance.
- Strong knowledge of ERP platforms (NetSuite) and financial systems (Coupa, Concur, ADP, etc).
- Experience with financial reporting, compliance, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX).
- Experience with automating business processes using Generative AI and/or other automation technologies
- Proven ability to drive automation, analytics, and AI-based financial solutions.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- This role will require 3 days onsite in either Waltham or Conshohocken
