About Madrigal :
Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis.
Role Overview :
Executive Director, Global Market Access
The Executive Director, Global Market Access, is a pivotal leader at Madrigal, overseeing global pricing for Resmetirom. This role is responsible for crafting and executing integrated global market access strategies that optimize pricing, recommendations, and payer acceptance for Madrigal’s product offering across Europe. Reporting to the VP of Market Access, the Executive Director collaborates with the Regional Market Access Lead(s) and across functions, ensuring alignment with business priorities and the effective positioning of Madrigal products. This is a remote position.
Position Responsibilities :
- Develop and Drive Market Access Strategies
Design and implement integrated global market access and payer strategies and approval processes with a deep understanding of payer dynamics and market access stakeholders, in collaboration with Regional Market Access Team(s).
Support the development of evidence generation plans tailored to the needs of key markets and the Brand Strategy.
Serve as a critical adviser and business process owner for pricing, recommendations, and tenders, ensuring alignment with market access perspectives.
Inform internal decision-making on portfolio prioritization, Target Product Profiles, and Target Value Propositions.
Build strong cross-functional relationships with Marketing, Public Affairs, Communications, Medical Affairs, Regional Leads, and Country GMs.
