We’re ideally looking for someone with 1 years experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment (but we are willing to train), and some of your responsibilities will include…
- Preparing & cooking a variety of menu items, including pizzas, nachos, sandwiches, salads, and shareable foods, to fulfill individual guest and private event orders.
- Delivering consistent and quality food, upholding the kitchen's quality standards & procedures for each menu item for freshness, taste, and presentation.
- Delivering a warm and welcoming experience to all guests; facilitating all guest requests and needs, and resolving any guest concerns or issues.
- Communicating with your fellow cooks, dishwashers, food runners and leadership throughout your shift and on the line to ensure everyone is on the same page and working together.
- Working in all areas of the kitchen, including prep, pizza line, salad/fry, expo; as well as occasionally working the dish pit and running out food, if necessary.
- Recipe Reader: you understand how to read and follow a recipe for continued consistency in guest product.
- Kitchen Organization: you understand ServeSafe standards and procedures for food preparation and storage.
- Positive & Helpful Mindset: you have an upbeat attitude and a strong willingness to assist others in order to exceed expectations.
- Community Builder: you play a vital role in planting a better community in the workplace and beyond, by actively participating in volunteer events and projects that give back.
