POSITION: Outfitter
LOCATION: Blue Ash, OH
REPORTS TO: Assistant General Manager, Parks & Rec
STATUS: Part-Time (Non-Exempt - Hourly)
COMPENSATION RANGE: $8 per hour, plus tips
POSITION SUMMARY: The Outfitter creates exceptional retail experiences while serving as a knowledgeable guide for merchandise, to-go beverages, and delivery services. As a key point of contact for both in-person and to-go guests, they ensure smooth operations of our retail and delivery programs while maintaining strong product knowledge. They will be an avid MadTree ambassador who lives the behaviors – Connect, Grow, and Give a F*ck.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide exceptional customer service in merchandise and to-go retail areas.
- Process retail transactions accurately and maintain cash handling procedures.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of merchandise offerings, materials, and sizing.
- Handle to-go beverage and food orders efficiently.
- Coordinate with third-party delivery service drivers.
- Maintain organized retail displays and inventory.
- Process online orders and prepare them for pickup.
- Stock and organize merchandise and to-go beverages.
- Assist with inventory counts and ordering.
- Maintain cleanliness of retail and pickup areas.
- Answer questions about facility layout and offerings.
- Support special events and merchandise promotions.
- Share sales insights and guest feedback with leadership.
- Execute opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Participate in training and knowledge development programs.
- Be ready and willing to help with other job-related duties as needed.
- Spend up to 16 hours per year volunteering (paid) for MadTree Impact initiatives with excitement, encouraging your teammates to do the same.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties, accountabilities, and responsibilities satisfactorily. - High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record.
