The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily restaurant operations as well as managing the overall health of the space. This position serves as the face of the organization both internally and externally. Working as a Restaurant Manager requires problem-solving, strong work ethic, and leadership skills. The Restaurant Manager understands that customer satisfaction takes priority but efficient operations & a good team attitude make that possible. They are an experienced leader with a goal to improve the daily customer experience.

- Identify and delegate responsibilities to baristas, line cooks, dishwashers, and supervisors to ensure daily objectives are met and excellent service is consistently achieved.
- Review opening and closing via 7tasks checklists were completed and following up with appropriate people if they were not.
- Ensures all items in the entire restaurant are of the best quality and taste each and every day.
- Maintains labor percentage of 30% weekly via scheduling and publishing schedule via 7shifts.
- Manages weekly inventory of food orders, dry goods, wine and beermaintaining a healthy COGS
- Applicable orders are placed when they are needed with applicable vendors on our weekly ordering schedule.
- Ensure kitchen and barista station, pastry case, RTD and RTE cases are properly stocked, organized and are ready for service.
- Participates in hiring, coaching and terminations of all Mae's Market and Cafe employees with assistance from the supervisors.
- Assists in training new employees according to Mae's Market and Cafe training manuals.
- Enforces Mae's Market and Cafe policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, side work and safety.
- Is an active communicator/ambassador between restaurant staff and customers.
- Actively solves problems.
- Handles disgruntled customers by offering solutions.
- Manages and approves discounts and refunds in Square.
- Participates in weekly or bi-weekly Manager Meetings.
- Responsible for all email and other online line or phone communications with guests.

Salary : $65,000 - $90,000
