Customer Service Specialist / Sales Representative

Maejean Vintage is seeking to hire a Customer Service Specialist / Sales Representative for our rapidly growing vintage jewelry store in downtown Lancaster!

Maejean Vintage is a leading retailer of fine vintage and antique jewelry! MJV has been sourcing historical and unique fine vintage jewelry and fostering personable, and meaningful online & in person shopping experiences for clients worldwide, since 2010.

We are seeking a hard-working candidate who is eager to assist with all aspects of our expanding business. This position offers a competitive hourly base pay plus 4% commission on direct in studio sales appointments.

Our Customer Service Specialist / Sales Representative will be responsible for:

Customer service across all of our growing platforms, including: Shopify, Etsy, Google Voice, Gmail, IG, Facebook Messenger, TikTok and more.

• Appointment Management. Keeping up with cancellations, openings, customer appointment requests, texting customers to confirm appointments, managing a waitlist, etc.
• In person sales in our downtown Lancaster, PA, showroom with 4% commission
• Virtual customer appointments
• Product photography. Potentially assisting with photographing and editing product photos. (No experience required)

Compensation / Benefits: Negotiable hourly rate (depending on industry experience and education) 4% commission on direct in studio sales, monthly sales bonuses, birthday bonus, anniversary bonuses, PTO, weekly direct deposit pay, paid 45 minute lunch break (when working at least 6 hours in office), 401k matching, paid further education (including some GIA courses), opportunity for advancement, parking pass for garage provided, and more!

Location: Lancaster, PA

- Detail oriented and passionate about interacting with customers
- Jewelry field experience / knowledge is preferred, but not necessary
- Must have excellent written communication skills
- Must have Saturday availability
- Strong communicator & positive attitude

- Willingness to assist and learn tasks as requested from each department. Paid training provided.

- Some college preferred, but not required

- Availability to work in studio Tuesdays- Saturdays, up to 40 hours a week.
