- Warehouse Operations Management:
o Supervise and manage receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments.
o Assign daily tasks and workloads to Warehouse Associates to meet operational goals.
o Monitor and maintain efficient workflows, ensuring the warehouse operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Team Leadership and Development:
o Coach, mentor, and provide regular feedback to warehouse staff to foster a productive and positive team environment.
o Cultivate a strong, motivated, and safety-conscious workforce through effective leadership and motivation.
- Inventory Management:
o Reconcile any discrepancies found during physical counts with the warehouse inventory system.
o Ensure proper stock rotation and organization of inventory to minimize loss and maximize space utilization.
- Safety and Compliance:
o Ensure that all team members are trained in safety protocols and equipment handling.
o Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all company policies to ensure the highest standards of production, safety, and quality.
- Reporting and Metrics:
o Provide regular updates on operational performance, challenges, and improvements.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Solid knowledge of modern warehousing practices, inventory management, and operational workflows.
- Critical thinking skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and inventory management software.
- Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks required.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Must be able to bend, squat, and perform other physical tasks as required.
