Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Sales Planning :
Develop and implement a focused sales plan to grow business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
- Utilize effective territory planning to balance sales efforts and manage time productively with a mix of A&D and Distribution.
Customer Engagement :
Build and maintain relationships with key decisionmakers including owners architects designers general contractors and subcontractors.
Sales Growth :
Follow up on Weekly Quote Report to maximize the quotetoorder ratio.
Project and Sales Support :
Maximize selling time by leveraging internal resources like Account Managers Technical Support Order Entry and Finance.
Reporting and Systems Management :
Maintain accurate account files and followup procedures.
Travel Requirements :
Expect overnight travel up to 50% of the month.
Qualifications : Education :
College degree preferred or equivalent field experience.
Experience :
Previous experience in inside or outside sales with a proven background in prospecting coldcalling and business development.
Skills :
Proven ability to grow sales and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Maintain a list of top accounts and projects across the region. Analyze competition to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities to improve profitability and close ratios. Project and Sales Support : Maximize selling time by leveraging internal resources like Account Managers, Technical Support, Order Entry, and Finance. Ensure all customer projects are followed up on in a timely and effective manner, coordinating necessary actions for successful outcomes. Provide product education through AIA CEU Lunch presentations (minimum of 6 per year). Reporting and Systems Management : Maintain accurate account files and follow-up procedures. Utilize and update sales data systems and construction reporting services. Travel Requirements : Expect overnight travel up to 50% of the month.
