Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in field service, industrial maintenance, and customer service. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in various industrial settings while ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Manage repair orders, vendor relationships, and cost negotiations to optimize repairs and reduce BER quotes.
- Allocate parts from stock or purchase stock to vendors for cost savings.
- Enter and approve vendor quotes, generate reports, and follow up on issues for timely resolution.
- Support Sales with repair orders and drop shipments, assist Receiving with nonconforming units, and handle Accounts Payable inquiries.
- Consistently meet KPIs and organizational benchmarks, performing additional duties as assigned
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proactive, efficient under pressure, and capable of multitasking.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Experience & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 3 years in aviation MRO and customer interaction.
- 3-5 years of experience with engine materials (CF34 and P&W preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Familiar with MRO terminology, IPCs, S/Bs, 8130 forms, and traceability

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
