Production Associate
Location: Buckhannon, WV

The Production Associate is responsible for hand-packing and packaging a variety of products and materials while ensuring quality control and efficiency throughout the production process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Count, measure, and weigh materials and products for packaging.
Identify and remove defective products or materials, placing them in designated areas for further handling.
Construct, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools.
Inspect containers, products, and materials to ensure they meet quality standards and packing requirements.
Seal containers or materials using hand tools and apply fasteners as needed.
Accurately mark and label containers, tags, labels, or products.
Record packing, order, and product information on required forms and documents.
Stack boxes on pallets and transport packages to loading areas or designated zones.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to follow instructions efficiently and accurately.
Maintain a positive work environment while staying productive.
Strong attention to detail for assessing product quality and ensuring compliance.
Good time management skills to meet deadlines.
Basic understanding of customer service principles and processes.
Dependability and punctuality.
Education and Experience:
One year of general work experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
The position involves sitting for 95% of the time.
