Job Summary:
The Website Content Administrator will facilitate the completion of a variety of assigned eCommerce projects. Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and developers, the Website Content Administrator will be responsible for defining requirements, completing development when necessary, and evaluating results. The Website Content Administrator will report to the Director of Technology.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- The Website Content Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and updating numerous eCommerce websites.
- The Web Admin will be responsible for providing quick and consistent communication between consultants and stakeholders.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with stakeholders and the Director of Technology to thoroughly understand the needs to be supported by the systems and websites.
- Determines how changes to the project will affect the business and timelines.
- Responds to questions and provides advice to the stakeholders regarding current and potential technological changes, processes, and impact.
- Develop, analyze, and implement functional specifications.
- Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams.
- Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders and end-users about website performance.
- Plan and oversee projects (e.g., upgrades, software installations)
- Provide advice and technical process training.
- Keep up-to-date knowledge of relevant technology trends and developments.
- Coordinates plans and timeframes, ensuring that stakeholders understand the anticipated result.
- Produces reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations and progress to management and other relevant parties.
- Researches and analyzes the nature, effect, and results of system and website difficulties.
- Maintains current understanding of industry standards, trends, and best practices through industry and other professional networks.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in Magento OS is preferred.
- Experience in HTML and CSS is preferred.
- Experience in project management.
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excell and Office 365 suite.
- Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to lead, facilitate, motivate, and organize.
- Ability to adapt to change.
- Ability to learn quickly and to creatively solve new problems.
- Ability to negotiate and settle differences quickly and peacefully.
- Ability to act as a team player.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or related field preferred.
- 3 years of experience preferred.
