Materials Technician

MAG USA is a full-service supplier that designs, develops, and manufactures best-in-class products for the automotive industry. We are the market share leader in our product segment with a customer base that includes General Motors, Toyota, Stellantis, and Ford. We are seeking a Materials Technician with both sit-down and stand-up forklift experience, a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, critical thinking capabilities, strong analytical skills.

Brief:

To be responsible for the effective and efficient operations of logistics and material functions

Experience and Qualifications:

• 2 years experience safely driving a fork truck in fast-paced warehouse environment preferred
• Experience with warehouse functions such as forklift operations, scanning bar codes and shipping and receiving
• Proficient in math
• Must be energetic and enthusiastic
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs repetitively
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks
• Ability to interact well and efficiently with other employee
Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Responsibilities:
• Forklift operations moving material as needed
• Work safely
• Inventory control and cycle counting
• Use of scanners
• Helps at others as appropriate.
• Report abnormalities to Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Other duties as assigned

Conditions of Employment:

• Must live in close proximity to the plant located in Clinton Tennessee
