Software Automation Test Engineer

Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Automation Test Engineer to join our team. As a Software Automation Test Engineer, you will support theWideband Control Integration Test Division at Tobyhanna Army Depotensuring the reliability and functionality by identifying issues before the software reaches end-users. Effective testing by the Test Team improves end-user satisfaction by ensuring the software meets all war-fighter needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to :

Ability to create programs, functions, and capabilities by writing code in a variety of computer languages

Be able to self-task and make decisions while working in a fast-paced changing environment

Support and enhance automation testing for various satellite systems for PdM Wideband Enterprise Satellite Systems (WESS)

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Knowledge and Skills

3 of experience in coding and software pipelines in a professional environment

Must have experience working with Terraform and / or Ansible

Familiarity with python

Must be able to work within a small team

Must have the flexibility to work within a changing environment

Education

• High School Diploma

Desired Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field is a plus

Experience working with virtual environments (VMWare, ProxMox, and Hyper-V)

Experience working with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

Experience working with sprints or in an agile environment is preferred

Cloud Computing experience

Other Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or be able to obtain one

The projected compensation range for this position is $90k - $115k (annualized USD).
