Job Title: Epidemiologist

Pay: $71,425-$96,365
As an Epidemiologist at Magallan Consultancy, you will play a crucial role in advancing public health initiatives through your expertise in epidemiological research and analysis. You will be responsible for designing and conducting epidemiological studies, analyzing data, and providing valuable insights to our clients.
Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Design and conduct epidemiological studies to investigate disease outbreaks, identify risk factors, and evaluate health interventions.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data using advanced statistical methods.
- Develop and implement surveillance systems to monitor disease incidence and prevalence.
- Communicate research findings to public health officials, policymakers, and the community through reports, presentations, and publications.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement public health programs and interventions.
Candidate Profile
- Master's degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Medicine, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in epidemiological study design, evaluation, or analysis
- Experience with survey research, including longitudinal survey design, measure development, and analysis
- Experience with nonprofit, community-based organizations, public health, public education, or faith-based sectors
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, data analysis, data management, and visualization tools
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, including proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata)
