We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Freight Broker Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will engage in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales, targeting managers at various businesses to establish lasting relationships and secure contracts as their primary shipping carrier. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with the drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and Target Potential Clients: Research and identify businesses that can benefit from our shipping services. Reach out to managers and decision-makers to offer our freight solutions.
- Develop and Maintain Client Relationships: Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in businesses across various industries.
- Sales Presentation & Negotiation: Conduct sales calls and meetings to present our services, negotiate terms, and close deals that result in securing long-term shipping contracts.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales goals and targets through consistent prospecting, relationship-building, and sales activities.
- Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor services, and market conditions to effectively position our offerings.
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and accurate information regarding their shipments, and resolve any issues that arise.
Qualifications:
- Vehicle: Must have a vehicle, as you will be driving business to business.
- Experience: Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in logistics, freight, or transportation industries. Experience in freight brokering or sales-related roles is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and persuade senior-level management and decision-makers.
- Self-Motivated & Driven: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable vehicle for commuting to client locations and attending in-person meetings as necessary.
- Full-Time Availability: This is a full-time position with an expectation to work standard business hours.
