Magee Plastics Company, a premier manufacturer of thermoplastics and composites for the aerospace, locomotive, and ground transportation industries is currently hiring for multiple Productions positions. These positions are responsible for various manufacturing duties and tasks which may include fabricating, assembling, repairing, packaging, and shipping of Magee Plastics Company products:
- 2 Shipping Positions
- 2 Assembly Positions
- 1 Forming Position (Machine Operator)
- 1 Painting Position
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Production personnel shall perform duties and tasks in accordance with procedures and manuals and associated protocols assigned.
- Production personnel may have dual function as production personnel and inspector.
Qualifications:
- Attention to detail.
- Promptness and reliability.
- Ability to read, write legibly, speak and understand English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Capable of performing basic data entry.
- Ability to read and follow procedures.
- Skill at hand work and associated machinery.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
- Possess acceptable vision (with corrective lenses, as appropriate).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
