Magellan Financial is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist (Sales Funnel Designer) to join Magellan Creative , our full-service marketing and ad agency dedicated to supporting independent financial advisory firms nationwide.

This role is perfect for a technical marketer with expertise in designing and optimizing digital sales funnels using Ortto (or similar platforms) . You will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing high-performing funnels that drive lead generation, nurture prospects, and increase client engagement for our financial advisory partners.

Key Responsibilities :

Digital Funnel Design & Optimization :

Design, build, and optimize high-converting sales funnels using Ortto and other automation tools.
Develop multi-step workflows including lead capture pages, email sequences, SMS follow-ups, and retargeting campaigns .
Implement A / B testing strategies to improve conversion rates at each funnel stage.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates to drive continuous improvements.

Lead Generation & CRM Integration :

Collaborate with advisors and marketing teams to create lead generation funnels that attract high-value prospects .

Ensure seamless CRM integration and data flow between Ortto, HubSpot, Salesforce, and other systems.

Segment audiences and personalize messaging based on user behavior, engagement, and sales triggers.

Marketing Automation & Campaign Execution :

Manage and optimize email marketing, SMS, and chatbot sequences to boost engagement.

Automate client onboarding and retention workflows to streamline the advisor-client journey.

Work with content and design teams to create high-impact landing pages, ads, and nurture sequences .

Implement behavior-based automations to trigger personalized outreach based on user activity.

Performance Tracking & Reporting :

Track and analyze funnel performance, engagement metrics, and revenue impact .

Generate weekly and monthly reports outlining funnel effectiveness and areas for improvement.

Identify trends, recommend optimizations , and implement data-driven improvements to maximize ROI.

Qualifications & Experience :

Required :

Experience designing and managing digital funnels using Ortto .

3 years of experience in marketing automation, lead generation, or sales funnel design.

Expertise in email automation, CRM integrations, and lead scoring strategies .

Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO), A / B testing, and behavioral targeting .

Proficiency in Ortto, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Keap, or ClickFunnels .

Experience in workflow automation, trigger-based sequences, and customer segmentation .

Ability to analyze user behavior, interpret data, and optimize marketing funnels .

Strong collaboration skills, working across marketing, sales, and technology teams .

Preferred :

Familiarity with financial services, fintech, or professional services marketing .

Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, and paid media platforms .

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for landing page customization is a plus.

Understanding of compliance and data privacy best practices in financial marketing .
