About the Role:
As the primary point of contact between Magellan and our network of financial advisors, you'll serve as their trusted partner, strategic consultant, and gateway to a suite of powerful resources. Often referred to as a "Marketer" in our industry, this role is critical to helping advisors expand their client base, grow assets, and achieve new heights of success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advisor Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with a dedicated group of financial advisors.
- Strategic Support & Consultation: Provide expert guidance on Magellan’s programs, services, and solutions to help advisors grow their practices.
- Sales & Business Development: Proactively engage advisors to promote adoption of Magellan’s tools, training, and marketing strategies that accelerate business growth.
- Problem-Solving & Service Facilitation: Act as a liaison between advisors and Magellan’s internal teams, ensuring top-tier support and responsiveness.
- Product & Industry Expertise: Stay current on industry trends, annuity and insurance products, and Magellan’s proprietary offerings to provide value-driven recommendations.
- Event & Engagement Coordination: Connect advisors with relevant trainings, workshops, and marketing events to maximize business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 1–3 years in financial services, sales, relationship management, or a related field.
- Experience with financial advisors, FMOs, or RIAs is preferred but not required.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Sales-oriented mindset with a passion for helping advisors succeed.
- Self-motivated and proactive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and financial technology platforms.
