Magellan Financial is seeking a highly skilled and creative Web Designer to join Magellan Creative, our full-service marketing and advertising agency dedicated to supporting independent financial advisory firms nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Design & Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, responsive websites for independent financial advisors.
• Create custom website layouts, graphics, and interactive elements aligned with client branding.
• Optimize websites for SEO, mobile responsiveness, and fast loading speeds.
• Implement lead capture forms, landing pages, and CTA features to drive conversions.
• Work within WordPress, Webflow, and other CMS platforms to develop advisor websites.

Branding & Digital Marketing Support:

• Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to align websites with overall marketing strategies.
• Design and integrate email templates, social media graphics, and digital advertising creatives.
• Develop and implement A/B testing strategies to improve website conversion rates.
• Maintain a consistent brand identity across all digital assets.

UX/UI Optimization & Performance Tracking:

• Conduct UX research and implement best practices to improve site navigation, usability, and engagement.
• Track and analyze website performance metrics, including traffic, bounce rates, and conversions.
• Optimize websites for accessibility, ADA compliance, and modern web design standards.
• Ensure security best practices, keeping websites updated and protected.

Advisor & Client Collaboration:

• Work directly with independent financial advisors to customize websites based on their needs.
• Provide training and support to advisors on how to use and update their websites.
• Gather and incorporate advisor feedback to continuously enhance website features and functionality.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required:

• 3 years of experience in web design and development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms like WordPress, Webflow, or Squarespace.
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or Figma.
• Experience with SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and website performance optimization.
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to implement conversion-focused design strategies.
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced marketing environment with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred:

• Experience designing websites for financial services, professional services, or corporate brands.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and digital advertising tools.
• Knowledge of ADA compliance, website security best practices, and site speed optimization.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js) or PHP is a plus.
