Maggart & Associates is seeking a qualified, detail-oriented, and experienced AMPP Certified Cathodic Protection Technician (CP2) for a one-year contract opportunity with the opportunity to be hired full-time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cathodic protection testing and troubleshooting with a valid AMPP Cathodic Protection Technician (CP2) Certification. This role involves client communication, project document production, internal team collaboration, system testing and inspections, system installation and installation training for cathodic protection systems. The candidate should be knowledgeable of industry standards and regulations and able to ensure compliance. Out-of-state travel is required approximately 2-3 times a month for 3 days at a time, on average. Some projects will require additional time on-the-road.
Responsibilities :
- Manage projects by communicating with clients and collaborating with team members to produce project documents and ensure that the company adheres to project specifications.
- Meet with clients and provide guidance and materials installation instruction.
- Perform on-site testing and inspection of cathodic protection systems.
- Analyze test results to ensure performance and compliance.
- Prepare detailed reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions, when necessary.
- Perform system installation and commissioning.
- Understand and adhere to all safety procedures and standards on construction sites.
