Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hospice care to patients and their families, ensuring comfort and dignity.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to manage care effectively.
- Administer medications and treatments, including IV insertion and tube feeding, as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records using EHR systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Educate patients and families on end-of-life care options and resources available.
Qualifications
- Current RN License
- Proficient in patient assessment and care planning
- Skilled in medication administration and tube feeding
- Knowledgeable in EHR systems, including Epic and Cerner
- Experience with catheterization and IV insertion
- Strong understanding of physiology and patient care principles
- Familiarity with critical care and long-term care environments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $77,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
