Job Summary
As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for managing outgoing shipments in a timely and efficient manner. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments to ensure accurate order fulfillment and inventory management. This is an office position, however, forklift experience and willingness to help out on the production floor is a plus. This is a 1st or 2nd shift positon.
Responsibilities
- Check in and check out truck drivers
- Generate pack list for next day's shipments
- Prepare Bills of Lading
- Load trucks and stage/prepare loads for next day using a forklift
- Organize and arrange finished goods using a forklift
Experience/Qualifications
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment preferred
- Proficiency in basic math skills for order verification
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes and shipping/receiving procedures
- Forklift operation experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems
