The opportunity
As an Electrical Engineer within our Electrical Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the electrical design of Magic Leap's next-gen cutting-edge headset(s). We are looking for individuals with a passion for solving complex technical challenges and delivering world-class hardware designs in the augmented reality space. Join our team to continue to revolutionize spatial computing and push the boundaries of Augmented Reality experiences.
What you'll do
- Work independently with limited supervision, managing subsystems, and participating in design of experiments
- Printed Circuit Board(PCB) design including electrical schematic, and layout
- Evaluate new technologies and components for introduction into next-generation designs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal partners to support product definition, requirements, and expectations
- Support hardware and systems decisions through all phases of research & development, engineering design cycles, and validation through productization
- Conduct prototype bring-up and debugging of issues. Support manufacturing and new product introduction teams for prototype builds
- Conduct Design Verification testing of prototypes and subsystems

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. In addition to salary, Magic Leap offers a discretionary bonus, equity, and a fully comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.
