Retail Operations Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and promoting our products. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage cash handling will be essential in creating a positive shopping experience for our clientele.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Provide product demonstrations and share knowledge about features to enhance customer understanding and satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.
• Assist in restocking shelves and organizing merchandise as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve customer service standards.
• Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashier roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic math skills are essential for accurate transaction processing.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is advantageous.
• A genuine passion for providing excellent customer service and a willingness to learn about our products.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
