What are the responsibilities and job description for the INFINERA Gx Professional Services Engineer position at Magicforce?
In depth knowledge of Gx portfolio – G30, G31, G32 and G42 system architecture, signal flow, DWDM / ROADM / CDC functional blocks and supported configurations
In depth knowledge of SW / FW release lineups, element management system and network management system
Expertise in reading Network Planning tool design, layouts and configurations
Handson expertise in GX commissioning, provisioning and OAM&P (operations, admin, maintenance and provisioning)
Proficient with automated NEAT tool – G30 v3 and G32 v1as well as manual NEAT procedures
Proficient with NAT (Network Acceptance Test) methodology, field test and turn up procedures
Proficient with troubleshooting using fault sectionalization, interpreting OAM parameters (thresholds, alerts, events), optical power balancing (indepth understanding of internal system eOPMs (electronic optical power monitors)
Preferred – experience with Frontier Communications Infinera optical network deployments, COEI process and in field infrastructure (installation, cable management)
