As a Consignment Inventory Specialist, you will focus on execution, operational support, and inventory analysis. You will be an integral part in creating customers for life!
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform regular reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy between physical inventory and system records, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain appropriate program based inventory levels at each customer’s site (or offsite location), targeting the goal of optimum months on hand (MOH) of 1.5, through critical decision making and analysis of replenishment orders submitted by the field sales or field service network.
- Process program based (consignment) shipments, billings and returns.
- Identify and address any program based inventory that has not been invoiced within 90 days
- Interacting with sales/service/customer to invoice, or return eligible inventory.
- Maintain all assigned consignment files in an “in sync” status to the shipped order file.
- Collaborate and interact with Sales, Service, Warehouse, Contract Management, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Credit, and Customer personnel to resolve all program based issues in a timely manner, either through live interaction or by email or phone
- Complete any miscellaneous or project work at the direction of Inventory Solutions Director, or Manager of Program Lifecycle Service.
- Provide support coverage to fellow team members when needed.
- Escalate potential opportunities for program based improvements to management.
