Job Responsibilities:
The ADAS intern/Co-op supports the ADAS team by integrating, developing, testing and debugging the ADAS algorithms such as ACC, AEB, Lane Centering, Lane Keep Assist etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop building blocks for ADAS features/algorithms
Integrate new or modified Simulink models into the MATLAB and/or CarMaker test environment
Create or modify test cases based on the requirements to cover the new or modified functionalities
Debug issues found and root cause them
Report and document issues; Propose correction to issue reported
Perform systems testing of products on bench and in vehicles making sure the product functions and performs as the customer expects per requirements.
Qualifications:
Enrolled in a master’s or PhD degree program in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Automotive Engineering/ Computer Science or equivalent
Education / Experience
High School Diploma
Currently Attending a college or University
Special Knowledge / Skills:
Experience in vehicle dynamics OR control systems OR digital signal processing through coursework or industry experience
Coursework or project with vehicle simulation/testing
Experience with Matlab/Simulink and Stateflow
MS Office Tools knowledge
Basic knowledge of ADAS features
Working knowledge in structured engineering approach
troubleshooting and debugging skills
Experience with CarMaker/CarSim/Requivalent software
Experience in ADAS/AD academic/industry projects
Execution of test suites in a model/software in the loop environment (MIL/SIL)
Working knowledge in development of portable, reusable and modular software in automotive environment.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
