Job Responsibilities: DevOps team lead will be responsible for managing a team of highly talented engineers. The lead will provide expertise and guidance on DevOps tools, processes and services. The individual will help design, implement and improve our ecosystem as well as operationalize our highly available and scalable infrastructure in the cloud and on-prem. The lead will be expected to spearhead multiple Initiates and projects and mentor others. What you can expect Maintain active relationships with partners, internal customers to determine business requirements and lead requirement gathering meetings. Develop and define application scope and objectives as well as prepare technical and/or functional specifications from valid input. Lead team stand-ups. Performs technical design reviews and code reviews. Design and automate CI/CD pipelines Participates in on-call support and ensures effective monitoring of system. Generate handbook for usage of the implemented tool software (components) Coordinate integration of 3rd party software such as plug-ins, scripts, etc. according to specification Perform other duties as necessary for completion of projects and achievement of departmental goals Ability to build and support CI CD pipelines across cloud and on-prem infrastructure What you'll bring Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering / Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent 2 years of experience in management role leading diverse group of engineers 7 years of experience working as Devops engineer 5 years of experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP or Azure In depth experience with DevOps ecosystem – GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Artifactory Experience with deploying clustering/load balancing technology to support application needs Strong Linux administration Micro service architecture experience Database – Postgres, mysql, nosql Monitoring - Graphana, Splunk, ELK Programming Languages – Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby Experience with container services - Docker, Kubernetes, service meshes etc. Experience with Git, Ansible, Jenkins, Puppet, Terraform Experience with Jira/Confluence What we offer Flexible working hours and hybrid work Health programs, sports and team events An extensive training program and exciting internal development opportunities Meal allowance Awareness, Unity, Empowerment: At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
