Job Title: Expeditor
Position Summary:
Magna Legal Services is seeking a detail-oriented Record Retrieval Specialist/Expeditor to serve as the vital link between our company and custodians of records. In this role, you will be responsible for initiating and managing requests for records, processing payments, and ensuring timely retrieval and submission of all required documentation. Your ability to communicate effectively, stay organized, and work efficiently will be key to ensuring the smooth operation of our retrieval process. This position is on-site at our office in Houston, TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound and outbound calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all communications in our call center database.
- Process and reconcile custodian invoices with open orders, ensuring all supporting documents are retrieved for authorized payments.
- Coordinate payments via online portals, email, or mailed checks.
- Proactively communicate with custodians to address and resolve any issues that arise.
- Expedite record requests efficiently through phone, email, or online portals.
- Perform other related administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with active listening abilities.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with MR8 Plus software is a plus.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
Compensation: USD $15.00 - $17.00 per hour.
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
