Verantwortlichkeiten: About the Role: The Global Director, Investigations is responsible for overseeing and managing a Global Team of Investigators, leading complex internal investigations into allegations of misconduct, fraud, or policy violations within an organization, ensuring investigations are conducted thoroughly, ethically, and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, while also recommending corrective actions and policy improvements based on findings; often working closely with Legal, Compliance, and HR Departments. Key Responsibilities: Leading Investigations: Oversee Magna’s global investigation system – Navex, for all non-HR matters Lead the triage of all cases that come into the Navex system Assign and supervise Investigators on complex cases, including witness interviews, document review, and evidence collection Conduct high-profile or sensitive investigations independently Develop investigative strategies, timelines, and reporting protocols Analyze data and identify potential areas of concern Team Management: Recruit, hire, and train Investigators Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to team members Foster a culture of ethical investigative practices within the team Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive investigative reports detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations Present findings to relevant Stakeholders, including Senior Management, Legal Counsel, and Human Resources Prepare monthly and quarterly reports to the Vice President, Internal Audit for presentation to Senior Management, Investigations Oversight Committee, Magna Compliance Council, and the Audit Committee Compliance and Legal Oversight: Ensure investigations adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies Collaborate with Legal and Compliance complex legal issues arising during investigations Policy Development: Review and recommend improvements to internal investigation procedures and guidelines Partner with Compliance for training programs to educate employees on company policies and reporting mechanisms Who we are looking for: Bachelor’s Degree or higher 5-10 years Director experience Ability to think strategically and problem-solve using innovative approaches Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability Comfort with ambiguity and fluid projects/assignments Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with moderate to high level technical skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Drive for results and ability to network and collaborate cross-functionally Required Skills and Qualifications: Extensive experience in conducting investigations in a corporate setting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interview witnesses and interact with Stakeholders Knowledge of Legal principles and Regulatory Compliance requirements Proven leadership abilities to manage a team of Investigators Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Your preferred qualifications: CIA/CPA or CFE or CCEP (or international equivalent) What we offer: At Magna, you can expect an engaging and dynamic environment where you can help to develop industry-leading automotive technologies.
