Job Responsibilities: Job Summary: The HR Intern will focus on specific process improvement projects that directly support the 2025 Magna Strategy and Goals. Scope of Projects: Recruiting and onboarding process Working on creative ways to increase onboarding efficiencies Processing new hires through the HRIS systems Creating proposals on retention ideas Marketing Magna for different demographics Training Participating in orientation training Presenting the HR slides to new hires Observing production assistant/supervisor meeting on leadership development Creating their own training and presenting to the supervisor Systems Audit/Filing Magna has an annual IFTS internal audit we prepare for Working through the check lists and validating appropriate documentation is included in each personnel file. If documentation is missing, processing the completion to maintain compliance with audit. Experience and General Skills Required: Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven organizational skills capable of managing multiple tasks and projects. Marketing skills that can translate to multiple demographics Creative solutions and critical thinking ability to adapt to multiple challenges Positive interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain professionalism at all times Education Requirements: The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communication, or Business. Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year or enrolled in a graduate program. Internship Details & Schedule: This is a paid onsite internship to be completed over the summer of 2025. The timetable of this internship is flexible, depending upon candidate needs. Candidates that are seeking full-time employment upon graduation are encouraged to apply.
