Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Summary
The electrical engineer will design high-power pulsed electrical equipment that integrates high-voltage, embedded controller, and mechanical systems. Join a small, passionate team where your expertise will directly impact groundbreaking technologies and products.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and testing of high-power pulsed electrical systems for industrial and commercial applications.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate high-voltage, embedded, and mechanical systems into functional devices.
- Drive innovation in system design, prototyping, and production to ensure reliability and performance.
- Analyze project requirements, propose creative solutions, and oversee system implementation.
- Partner with customers and internal teams to identify opportunities for improvement and customize solutions.
- Develop and maintain system-level expertise to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
- Explore and implement new technologies to enhance the performance, efficiency, and capabilities of our products.
- Prepare detailed specifications for electrical components, systems, and test protocols.
- Work in team environment to fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and engineering excellence.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, reports, and project plans.
- Support the sales and marketing team by providing technical expertise and insights.
Required Skills/Abilities
- A self-starter with a passion for engineering and problem-solving in a hands-on environment.
- Strong expertise in high-voltage electrical systems and embedded firmware development.
- Proven ability to design, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems from concept to production.
- Experience with mechanical CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Onshape).
- Proficiency in electrical CAD tools (e.g., KiCAD, Altium, Eagle).
- Advanced programming skills in C/C for embedded systems.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- An eagerness to innovate, learn, and take ownership of complex projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with high-power pulse technologies and related safety protocols.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in electrical equipment design.
- Knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques and materials for high-voltage systems.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
