Job Responsibilities:
The CMM Lab Supervisor is responsible to ensure that the Customer, People, and Investor goals are balanced and met. Supervises lab testing and CMM processes including testing for incoming materials and chemicals and the validation and verification of design tests on new and/or modified products.
- Provide instruction, leadership and guidance to all direct reports (CMM Operators).
- Maintain schedule, supervise and coordinate the activities of all direct reports to ensure dimensional inspections are performed in a correct and timely manner.
- Support current production, new projects, customer complaints and requirements, engineering changes, quality loops, process improvements and other functions to maintain part integrity and quality assurance standards.
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from two year college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum three years experience in layout function utilizing a Direct Computer Controlled (DCC) Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
- Competent in all Metrology related testing and inspection equipment.
- MSA certificate or scheduled training completed within 6 months of accepting position.
