Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate a fork lift to load and unload trailers and move material as needed.
- Ensure equipment is in safe, working order by completing daily inspection following checklist guidelines. Immediately report concerns with equipment.
- Complete preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
- Complete documentation as necessary to support correct inventory levels.
- Verify product prior to shipment to ensure correct product and quantity is shipped.
- Report all incidents/near misses to Supervisor.
- Follow and support Magna Body & Chassis Iowa's and Magna's operating principles.
- Support efforts to achieve department and plant goals on Employee Opinion Survey.
- Support plant safety initiatives and always work within safety guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to obtain fork lift certification within first 30 days.
- Attention to detail a must to complete paperwork accurately.
- Ability to multi-task continuously to manage line products.
