Job Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS:
- Supporting our customer – Press Shop
- Must be able to work with minimum or no supervision
- Maintaining press shop production and non production equipment
- Trouble shooting mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Perform daily routine and scheduled PM checks on equipment assigned to you
- Keep equipment assigned to you in clean, safe and good working conditions
- Perform major repairs and overhauls of our equipment as needed, which requires over time work, long hours and willingness to work weekend and holidays
- Response to production calls to repair issues causing down time or quality concerns
- Implement continuous improvements into our production lines
- Fabricate components and such using various cutting tools, lathes, drill presses and use your welding skills
- Utilize SAP for notification and work orders
- Determine root cause for quality defects and system failures
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- 80% Standing and walking, 20% stopping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing or balancing
- Physically fit and able to lift 100lbs
- Work near moving mechanical parts, work in high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles and vibrations.
- Exposure to potentially dangerous energy storing systems such as accumulators or pressure vessels
- Working in a noisy environment
- Exposure to electrical systems, presses, motors and energy storing, etc.
- Rotating shifts (1, 2, 3) or permanent off shifts. Overtime based on customer requirements.
EDUCATION:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or five years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING:
- Must be able to read and understand blue prints and ability to use metric system
- Hydraulic and / or pneumatic system knowledge would be beneficial
- Strong fabrication’s or machining or mechanical skills are required
- Welding skills & cutting torch skills are required
- Basic computer skills are beneficial

Pay range: $29.51 - $38.98 per hour
