This includes placing and removing parts into production machines and performing assembly, fastening, or material modification operations as required.
Key Duties:
- Operate presses, welders, and/or robots according to standard work instructions
- Produce high-quality parts and report any defects to the Area Leader
- Inform the Area Leader and/or setup person of any machine or tooling issues immediately
- Suggest improvements to products, processes, systems, productivity, and work environment through the Continuous Improvement Process
- Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and keep the Area Leader informed of work area conditions
- Accurately document production and inventory using CMS software
- Complete related paperwork, computer entries, scheduled tasks, and other duties accurately and on time
- Foster a Safety First culture by adhering to safety rules and procedures, wearing PPE at all times, and addressing safety concerns promptly
- Support plant work rules, quality policies, and environmental guidelines
- Contribute to achieving department and plant goals on Employee Opinion Surveys

- High school diploma or GED
