As a Property Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of commercial, industrial, or residential properties, ensuring excellent customer service and company standards are met. You will supervise onsite staff and manage property maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage property administration, improvement, maintenance, and general operations.
- Design, schedule, and coordinate property upkeep, repairs, remodeling, or construction projects.
- Collect fees for assessments, rentals, deposits, insurance, taxes, or other operating expenses.
- Determine needed repairs and maintenance through regular inspections.
- Serve as liaison between onsite managers, tenants, and owners.
- Show properties to prospective tenants, explaining terms of occupancy and community information.
- Develop and implement marketing plans for vacant spaces.
- Present detailed budgets and financial reports on the property.
- Maintain property records, including sales, rental, or usage activity; maintenance and operating costs; special permits issued; and property availability.
- Conduct personnel training, coaching, and disciplinary action as needed.
- Supervise inventory management in conjunction with maintenance supplies and personnel.
- Ensure compliance with record-keeping policies.
- Participate in after-hours and emergency response efforts.
- Enforce guidelines, rules, and regulations to tenants, visitors, and the community.
Required Skills and Abilities:

- Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with ability to train others.
- BASIC understanding of building construction methods and materials.
- Knowledge of laws, guidelines, and best practices of property management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, real estate, finance, or related field required.
- Three to five years of related experience required.
- Working knowledge of Onesite or property management software.
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
