Job Requirements
Magnet Medical is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients. Your expertise in patient preparation, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance will ensure high-quality images and excellent patient care.
About the Position
- Work 10 hours per week, nights, at Magnet Medical's Clifton Springs location
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Employment Type: Travel
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to obtain high-quality images of patients' bodies
- Prepare patients for scans by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort
- Position patients properly on the CT table to obtain necessary images
- Administer contrast agents or dye injections under physician or radiologist guidance
- Review CT images for quality and work closely with radiologists to ensure images meet diagnostic standards
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of CT technology and imaging principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic life support certification (BLS) or equivalent
