The CT Technologist ensures patient comfort and safety by preparing the imaging equipment, instructing patients on how to hold their breath or remain still during scans, and verifying patient information before each procedure.
Key responsibilities include operating and calibrating the CT scanner, administering contrast agents or dye injections under physician or radiologist guidance, monitoring the equipment during imaging, and reviewing CT images for quality.
