**Job Title:** Computed Tomography Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Specialist to join our team at our Gold Beach, Oregon location. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CT equipment, preparing patients for scans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to diagnose medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Preparation and Communication: Communicate clearly with patients to ensure they understand the scanning process, answer any questions, and make them feel comfortable during the procedure.
- Operation of CT Equipment: Calibrate and operate the CT scanner according to established protocols, ensuring accurate and reliable imaging results.
- Image Quality and Review: Review CT images for quality, completeness, and diagnostic accuracy, making adjustments as necessary to achieve optimal results.
- Patient Safety and Comfort: Adhere to strict safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients, using shielding and optimizing imaging protocols to protect both patients and staff.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to determine the most effective imaging strategies and provide accurate diagnostic information to support patient care.
Requirements:
A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, with current ARRT certification and experience working with CT scanners.
