We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Technologist to join our team in Pontiac, Michigan. As a Diagnostic Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure, answering questions, and ensuring they are comfortable.
• Position patients properly on the CT table to obtain the necessary images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
• Operate and calibrate the CT scanner, ensuring proper settings for each scan, including parameters such as radiation dose, slice thickness, and imaging protocols.
• Review CT images for quality, ensuring that all required areas are captured and the images meet diagnostic standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• A degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Experience working with CT scanners and other imaging equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
