Job Description
Magnet Medical is seeking a dedicated Travel Labor and Delivery RN to provide comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
Duties
- Pre-Labor and Admission Assessment
- Assess and monitor the health of pregnant women at various stages of labor.
- Educate patients on labor and delivery processes, pain management options, and what to expect during childbirth.
- Labor Support and Monitoring
- Monitor fetal heart tones and evaluate uterine activity for signs of labor progression.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor their effects.
- Assisting with Delivery
- Assist obstetricians or midwives during vaginal deliveries.
- Participate in cesarean section procedures.
Qualifications
- A current RN license in the United States.
- At least one year of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
