About the Role
">Magnet Medical is seeking a skilled RN to fill a travel nursing position in Labor and Delivery. This 13-week assignment offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to women during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
Key Responsibilities
">- Pre-Labor and Admission Assessment: Assess and monitor pregnant women's health at various stages of labor, including gathering health histories, vital signs, and physical assessments.
- Labor Support and Monitoring: Monitor labor progression through regular assessment of contraction patterns, cervical dilation, fetal heart rate, and maternal vital signs.
- Assisting with Delivery: Assist obstetricians or midwives during vaginal deliveries, participate in cesarean section procedures, and perform neonatal resuscitation.
- Postpartum Care: Monitor the health and recovery of both the mother and the newborn in the immediate postpartum period.
Requirements
