Description:
Magnet Medical is seeking a highly skilled MRI technologist to join our team. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI machines, preparing patients for procedures, and maintaining equipment to ensure the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI machines to create detailed images of the inside of a patient's body.
- Position patients correctly and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain equipment and provide high-quality images while delivering compassionate care.
- Review patient medical history, doctor's orders, and previous imaging studies to ensure appropriate procedures are conducted.
- Explain procedures to patients, addressing questions or concerns to reduce anxiety.
- Prepare and position the MRI room to ensure the machine and equipment are ready for procedures.
- Conduct MRI scans, adjusting settings as prescribed by physicians to obtain high-quality images.
- Monitor the MRI process to confirm quality imaging and make adjustments as necessary.
- Ensure patient safety during procedures, especially concerning strong magnetic fields.
- Assist patients off the MRI table after procedures and ensure they are stable and comfortable.
Requirements:
- Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current ARRT certification in MRI.
- Experience working with MRI equipment and patients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
