Job Description
Magnet Medical is seeking a highly skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures for patients. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners, preparing patients for scans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to determine imaging protocols.
Key Tasks:
- Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Verify patient information, including medical history and allergies, to ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate imaging protocols.
- Position patients properly on the CT table to obtain high-quality images.
- Operate and calibrate CT scanners, ensuring proper settings for each scan.
- Administer contrast agents or dye injections under physician guidance to enhance image clarity.
- Monitor equipment during imaging to ensure high-quality images are captured and that no errors occur.
Requirements:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)) or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
