Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Job Description
">We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostics Imaging Specialist to join our team at Magnet Medical. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners.
">Key Responsibilities:

- Operate CT scanners to obtain high-quality images of patients' bodies. ">
- Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure and answering any questions. ">
- Verify patient information, including medical history and allergies, to ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate imaging protocols. ">
- Position patients properly on the CT table to obtain the necessary images. ">
- Administer contrast agents or dye injections under physician or radiologist guidance. ">
- Review CT images for quality and work closely with radiologists to ensure that images are of sufficient quality to support diagnosis. ">
- Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients. ">
- Maintain a sterile, safe, and clean environment in the CT room. ">
Requirements
">To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. ">
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Computed Tomography (CT). ">
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ">
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ">
